**The Role**

We are seeking a skilled Senior Bioinformatician to join our team at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. This exciting opportunity will involve working with our experienced team to develop and maintain high-performance bioinformatics tools and pipelines, and to contribute to the analysis and interpretation of large-scale genomic and transcriptomic data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-performance bioinformatics tools and pipelines
  • Contribute to the analysis and interpretation of large-scale genomic and transcriptomic data
  • Collaborate with our experienced team to develop and deliver bioinformatics solutions to support our research
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our bioinformatics infrastructure

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £43,000-£50,000 per annum (pro rata), depending on skills and experience, and a range of benefits including opportunities for continuous learning, a generous annual leave entitlement, flexible working, an Employee Assistance Programme, and more.
