As we expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects and contribute to our continued success.

The successful candidate will oversee the full lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

This leadership role involves managing client relationships, coordinating project teams, and delivering strategic oversight to drive project performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee project programs, identifying risks, goals, and opportunities.
  • Manage resources effectively, ensuring the team structure supports project requirements.
  • Foster a climate of trust and collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide proactive communication regarding progress, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Deliver projects in alignment with client expectations of time, quality, and cost.
  • Manage the design and documentation process where applicable, ensuring proper coordination.
  • Regularly inspect work to maintain exceptional standards.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, including subcontractors and site operatives.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and delegate tasks for efficient outcomes.
  • Mentor staff, supporting their professional development and performance management.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Maintain a commitment to safe site operations at all times.
  • Monitor project costs, including producing and approving cost reports.
  • Manage variations, scope changes, and design reviews against the budget.
  • Ensure project profitability and achieve financial targets.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualifications in Building, Construction Management, or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the construction industry, with at least 7 years in project or site management.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and/or Asta Power Project.
  • Experience with project management software such as Procore or ASITE.
  • Experience delivering projects with significant structural or refurbishment components.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
