Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Special Education Needs Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN Tutor, you will work with children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND) in West Midlands.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. You will provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with a variety of learning needs in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN and/or disabilities
  • Develop and implement tailored educational plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure seamless support
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with students with SEN and/or disabilities
  • Experience with safeguarding procedures and protocols
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
