**Job Title:** Special Needs Educator

**Location:** Solihull, working between a school and Solihull College

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified teacher with experience in SEN settings to support sixth-form pupils on the autistic spectrum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualised and innovative lessons to promote academic, social, and life skills development.
  • Plan and adapt curriculum content to meet the unique needs and aspirations of pupils.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless learning experience.
  • Foster independence and prepare students for adulthood, employment, or further education.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience in SEN settings.
  • Proven experience teaching pupils on the autistic spectrum, particularly those aged 16-18.
  • Knowledge of autism-specific teaching strategies and approaches.
