Job Summary:

This is a 6-month contract with a possibility of extension, offering a salary that can be negotiated based on experience, flexible working hours, 25 days of paid annual leave, bank holidays, and additional benefits.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and technical specifications. They will collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy and consistency in technical writing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Author technical documentation for products within a modular document type system.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure technical content accurately reflects product design and operation.
  • Review and edit documentation produced by others to ensure it meets company standards.

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to create technical documentation that supports the design, manufacture, operation, and lifetime maintenance of manufactured systems. This involves writing clear, accurate, and aligned content that facilitates effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience in technical writing and documentation.
  • Strong understanding of product design and operation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
