Job Summary
Regents Park Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Physiologist to provide exceptional echocardiography services for elective patients at our Cambridge Heart Clinic. The successful candidate will support cardiac surgeons and doctors in diagnosing and treating patients with heart conditions, ensuring the highest standards of care are met.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage own workload effectively, prioritizing daily tasks to ensure efficient service delivery
- Assist in the smooth operation of the outpatient service, collaborating with administrative staff to optimize workload
- Maintain technical competency in non-invasive cardiology, adhering to industry standards and best practices
- Provide and participate in reporting outpatient echo services, ensuring accurate and timely results
- Liaise with administrative staff to organize lists and prioritize workload, ensuring seamless service delivery
- Ensure all equipment and work areas are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and functionality
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of consumables, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery
- Identify and resolve equipment faults promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuity of service
- Report patient results in a timely manner, providing clear and concise interpretations
- Respond to emergency situations effectively, maintaining control and requesting assistance as necessary
- Work in accordance with local policies and protocols, upholding the highest standards of professionalism
- Treat patients with kindness and respect, providing exceptional care and service

- BSE Certification
Working Arrangements
Full-time and part-time positions available, with flexibility to support our services. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility to accommodate service needs. No requirement to work weekends or Bank Holidays without prior agreement.
Salary
£50,000+/year, depending on experience
