Traffic Signals Maintenance Role

As a Traffic Signals Maintenance Specialist at Telent Technology Services Limited, you will be responsible for undertaking reactive and planned maintenance on Traffic Signals Technology equipment covering the M25. This role requires working standby every 1 in 4 weeks, including nights.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and apply knowledge of current Traffic Signals technologies, standards, and best practices for National Highways Motorway and trunk road communications systems.
  2. Complete essential maintenance tasks on Traffic Signals equipment, adhering to agreed maintenance schedules.
  3. Respond to emergency faults and knock downs, performing corrective maintenance, including site reinstatement, cable, and equipment repair.
  4. Conduct dynamic risk assessments for work activities and maintain a proactive approach to safety management.
  5. Participate in out-of-hours callouts and work nights as required by the contract.
Requirements:

You will ideally have previous Traffic Signals experience or similar technology and be eager to apply your knowledge and gain an understanding of Traffic Signals technology equipment.

Essential Skills:
  1. Electrical background, preferably 18th edition or equivalent.
  2. Experience in the Roadside Technology industry.
  3. Proficiency in PC and IT systems.
  4. Awareness of working near live power (G39).
  5. Full UK driving license.
