Scientific Outreach Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Outreach Specialist to join our team at Cranfield University. As a key member of our Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences, you will play a crucial role in supporting the outreach activities of the Water Infrastructure and Resilience (WIRe) Centre for Doctoral Training.
The successful candidate will have experience working in external communications within a scientific or engineering context, with a strong understanding of concepts and terminology related to science and engineering. You will be responsible for engaging stakeholders and wider interested communities through various channels, including social media, blogs, trade magazines, and e-bulletins.
You will also support the delivery and communication from CDT training and outreach events, including conferences, science fairs, and our annual Summer Challenge week. Additionally, you will assist with student recruitment campaigns and other outreach initiatives across the Institute as required.
About the Salary: The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
