Job SummaryThis exciting opportunity involves caring for a 12-bed male Recovery & Rehab ward and providing medical leadership to the hospital. The successful candidate will work closely with referring agencies, lead a Multi Disciplinary Team, and be responsible for teaching and supervising medical and clinical staff.
Responsibilities- Leading weekly ward rounds and running CPAs (Care Programme Approaches)
- Assessing new referrals and attending managers' hearings and tribunals
- Providing supervision to the Specialty Doctor and contributing to medical leadership
- Participating in on-call duties around 1:6
The role includes collaboration with the Clinical Network, which provides support and guidance to the team, and facilitates meetings. The successful candidate will be expected to attend some of these meetings off-site.
RequirementsTo be considered for this position, applicants must be on the GMC Specialist Register or be within three months of registration. They must also hold approved clinician status.
