Family Contact Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Contact Worker to join our team at Social Personnel. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in facilitating and supervising Contact visits between children and their parents, providing essential support and guidance to ensure the well-being of all parties involved.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate and supervise Contact visits, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
- Provide guidance and advice to children and parents on Contact arrangements and related issues.
- Conduct observations and assessments of Contact visits, contributing to the ongoing assessment of children and families in need.
- Collaborate with Social Workers to develop and implement action plans, ensuring the best interests of the child are prioritized.
- Maintain accurate records of Contact visits, including observations, assessments, and action plans.
- Stay up-to-date with Child Protection procedures and principles, as well as MCC social work procedures related to court proceedings.
- Contribute to the assessment of children and families' needs using the recognized Assessment Framework.
- Ensure that Contact visits are conducted in accordance with agreed plans, addressing any behavioral or emotional issues that may arise.
- Monitor and review action plans, escalating any concerns to the appropriate authorities.
- Hold a valid UK driver's license and have access to a vehicle.
- Be committed to continuous self-development and service improvement.
