Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional SEND Primary Teacher to join our team at a highly respected primary school in Oxfordshire. The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher with experience of working with children with special educational needs (SEN) and a strong passion for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a range of subjects to students with SEN, including phonics, literacy, numeracy, and the wider curriculum.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement effective strategies to support students with SEN.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's SEND policy and procedures.
  • Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in SEND.

Requirements

  • QTS status and experience of teaching students with SEN.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
