About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Head of Events to lead our events team on a large-scale greenfield project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the events strategy, managing the event operations team, and overseeing the installation of infrastructure and facilities onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the events strategy in collaboration with our Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
- Line management of the event operations team and freelancers
- Develop strategies to increase revenue and profitability through event management and marketing
- Manage and liaise with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution
- Develop proposals for new events and initiatives
- Identify areas for event development and growth year on year
- Oversee the installation of infrastructure and facilities onsite, ensuring a high-quality event experience
- Responsible for budget management and forecasting to ensure financial sustainability
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in the management of greenfield sites and events, including temporary infrastructure. You will also have the ability to lead a team and develop the event strategy with financial consideration.
