A challenging and rewarding role as a Social Worker is available within various councils in Greater Manchester.
About the Role:This position offers the opportunity to work in diverse teams and disciplines, including mental health, learning disabilities, hospital discharge, and community care.
Location:Vacancies are available across Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, and Wigan councils.
Working Arrangements:This role can be fulfilled on a full-time, hybrid, compressed, or part-time basis.
Key Requirements:- Degree in Social Work with current registration with Social Work England.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Access to a personal vehicle.
- Experience in relationship-focused social work.
- Manageable caseloads.
- Visible, supportive, and determined managers.
- Effective leadership and management to reduce risk for social workers and service users.
- Excellent supervision and a supportive peer network.
- A dedicated Social Work consultant providing a single point of contact.
- Nationwide provision of Social Work staff to over 200 local authorities.
- Bi-weekly payroll services.
- An annual training budget of up to £250 and ongoing online continuing professional development (CPD) training.
- Free DBS disclosures via fast-track online services.
If you refer someone who successfully joins our team, you will receive a referral bonus of £350.
Salary:£30,451 - £40,142 per annum, plus additional benefits.
