Accounts Payable Assistant

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of financial transactions, supporting compliance, and contributing to ongoing process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process purchase invoices, resolve order and delivery discrepancies, and manage the debit note and quality reject process.
  • Assist with payment runs and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
  • Support the annual audit process and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in accounting, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • AAT (or currently working towards) qualification.
  • IT literacy, including proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP systems and Excel.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
  • A monthly bonus scheme and Christmas bonus.
  • 33 days annual leave, plus a holiday purchasing scheme.

  • Flexible working hours, Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.
