Estimator Specialist

The role of an Estimator Specialist at Sirius Recruitment Services Ltd involves providing quotations to customers based on company knowledge and resources. As an experienced professional, you will interact with customers to understand their requirements and provide competitive quotes.
Main Responsibilities:- Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure effective communication and meet sales goals.
- Process Understanding: Familiarize yourself with the company's processes and new technologies to enable accurate quoting.
- Sales Process: Adhere to company procedures to achieve sales targets and work closely with the Sales Manager to increase revenue and opportunities.
- Interpret customer drawings and requirements.
- Utilize company software and systems to collate quotations and packages.
- Work with suppliers for material and sub-contract costs.
- Organise and prioritise workload.
- Collate daily/weekly/monthly KPI data.
- Work on RFQ projects through various documents and systems required.
- Holding commercial reviews on package projects with the Sales Manager.
- Implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
- Collaborating with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Ongoing engagement with customers to create lasting relationships and continued opportunities.
- Maintaining and driving the company strategy throughout the business.
- Ensuring HSE compliance and safe systems of working are adhered to.
- Aiding in continuous improvement activities within the facility.
- Performing other duties as required.
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Displays ability to plan, manage and effectively achieve deadlines.
- Show good initiative, attitude and work ethic.
- Has proven experience in a similar role.
- Possesses excellent organisational skills.
- Has customer facing experience.
- Demonstrates high level of numerical and analytical skills.
- Is competent using all aspects of Microsoft Office suite.
- Is a team player and self-motivated.
- Has a 'can do' attitude.
- Can read engineering drawings in various formats.
- Confident communicating at all levels.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience, a 37.5 hour week, early finish on Fridays, a friendly working environment, straight day shift, flexible holiday entitlement, and free onsite parking.
