About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our Transactional Finance team, driving transformation and excellence in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions. As part of our Finance Director's leadership team, you will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, credit notes, and payments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Team Leadership: Foster a high-performing team by providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Ledger Management: Oversee transactional finance operations, guaranteeing efficient processing of financial data and adherence to strong controls.
  • Financial Controls: Develop and implement robust processes, monitoring compliance and implementing safeguards to protect data integrity.
  • Reconciliation: Ensure regular reconciliations, including supplier statements and customer accounts, are completed accurately and on time.
  • Expenses: Monitor and control business expenses, ensuring alignment with company policies.
  • Finance Transformation & Process Improvement: Collaborate with the wider Finance team to deliver improvements in processing speed, quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
About You

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Significant experience working in finance teams within medium or large organisations.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Understanding of finance processes, best practices, and necessary controls.
  • Experience in improving business processes, working collaboratively to achieve better outcomes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and financial software.
