M&D Care is seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team in Crown Street, Swansea. As a key member of our Supported Living Service, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with mental health, Autism, and Learning Disabilities.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing person-centered care and advocating for the needs of our service users
  • Leading the staff team and ensuring they deliver high-quality care and support
  • Collaborating with the Registered Manager to develop and implement care plans
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Communicating effectively with service users, families, and colleagues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong commitment to providing excellent care and support
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of equal opportunities and their impact on employees and service users
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a Senior Support Worker with:

  • QCF Level 3 qualification or working towards it
  • Proven experience in care, ideally with a focus on mental health, Autism, and Learning Disabilities
