As a Social Worker within this team, you will have a manageable workload, excellent support, and time to spend with children and young people.

We are looking for a qualified Social Worker who is registered with Social Work England and has experience in working with children and families, including those from vulnerable groups.

They will be able to use excellent mediation and negotiation skills on behalf of service users and have high-level skills in building meaningful relationships with children and families to engage them in assessments and plans.
The successful candidate will be committed to providing our service users with a high-quality service and have experience in working in a multi-disciplinary, interagency basis.
In this role, you will use your skills, knowledge, and experience to make full assessments of risks, protection, and social care needs.
You will manage an agreed case load, use specialist communication skills to achieve optimum outcomes for service users, and devise individual care plans, taking account of diversity and promoting dignity and empowerment.
You will also offer advice and support to unqualified staff and students to assist their development.
