Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join our Facilities & Estates team at NHS Grampian.

About the Role

The primary purpose of this position is to lead trade-specific maintenance planning, control, and reporting, optimizing resources and the use of the maintenance management system.

Key responsibilities include overseeing technical operating standards, leading compliance assessments, and providing a systematic approach to asset data and technical information.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in managing maintenance in critical environments, managing team performance, and contributing to maintenance strategies.

You should hold a bachelor's degree in an engineering or construction-related discipline or demonstrate equivalent learning through experience and personal development.

Able to provide expert technical advice, facilitate improvements, and contribute to the assessment and management of infrastructure risks.

Requirements
  • Proven track record in tactical management of maintenance planning workflow and reporting processes
  • Experience in building maintenance programs and significant experience in maintenance control and quality assurance
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
  • Practical experience in planning and implementing change in maintenance services
  • Proven experience in cost forecasting and financial controls
