Job Title: Senior Youth Worker

At Hatched Recruitment Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Youth Worker to join our team. As a Senior Youth Worker, you will play a key role in coordinating, developing, and delivering projects across the borough, ensuring that they are effectively set up, maintained, and operated to provide a range of youth activities and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and develop projects across the borough, ensuring they are effectively set up, maintained, and operated.
  • Develop and deliver youth activities and programs that enable formal and informal learning, personal, and social development of children and young people aged 11+ and up to 25 with SEND.
  • Line manage staff allocated to designated projects, ensuring they are regularly supervised, subject to performance monitoring, and provided with development and training opportunities.
  • Develop partnership work with key stakeholder organizations and partners, including VCS groups, schools, and CFCs, for the development of projects and their users.
  • Meet all apportioned performance targets, including inputs, activities, outputs, outcomes, and impact, and update data onto the service MIS database and prepare reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in youth work, project coordination, and management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to line manage staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
