About the Role

As a Senior Mental Health Nurse Lead at Priory Group, you will provide senior nursing leadership to the ward team in support of the Ward Manager. You will have clinical experience and leadership expertise that provides confidence to the nursing team and ward overall.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical leadership to the ward nursing team.
  • Deputise for the Ward Manager as needed.
  • Lead on risk assessment and management across the ward environment.
  • Supervise a defined group of team members and contribute to their CPD and appraisal process.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in mental health nursing.
  • Leadership experience within a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £43,000 - £46,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, a pension scheme, and a healthy work-life balance.
