About the Role

The Keyholder Lead at CV-Library is a vital position responsible for supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales. In their absence, they are accountable for opening and closing the store, ensuring it trades safely and legally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the achievement of retail store targets through driving sales
  • Opening and closing the store in the absence of other management
  • Ensuring the store operates safely and legally
  • Delivering sales through friendly and efficient customer service
  • Providing customers with a fun and enjoyable shopping experience
  • Demonstrating products
  • Assisting customers with queries using product knowledge
  • Processing store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions
  • Ear piercing (full training provided)
  • Maintaining a presentable and inviting store environment

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is £22,000 - £25,000, depending on location and experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of retail experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • A strong understanding of customer service principles
  • Sound mathematical skills and strong reading comprehension abilities
  • Ability to stand during scheduled shifts
  • Capacity to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally
  • Physical stamina for bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders, and operating step stools
  • Proficiency in operating a POS system
