About the Role

Sainsbury's is embarking on a transformative journey, shifting its integration strategy from a centralized managed function to building common capabilities and shared libraries. As the Head of Technology for Integration, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the removal of legacy integrations by re-engineering into modern data pipelines, accelerating data exchange across Sainsbury's Tech.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement technology strategy in collaboration with strategic partners
  • Ensure technical, service, and delivery standards are met across a diverse portfolio
  • Provide inspirational leadership to direct reports and a team of colleagues employed through strategic partners
  • Drive agility, cultural change, and continuous improvement
  • Maintain financial control of a significant budget
  • Provide technical assurance and oversee the delivery of partner outcomes
  • Champion service management, vendor management, and contribute to broader initiatives
Requirements

You will be a highly knowledgeable and influential leader with extensive experience working with large-scale third-party technology suppliers. You will possess a solid understanding of integration patterns, cloud native design techniques, service management, and delivery management. Your strong integration experience, combined with your ability to identify and deliver continuous improvement, will empower you to drive innovation, foster a culture of high technical standards, and achieve exceptional results.
