Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Support Worker to join our team at North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing anaesthetic and surgical procedures.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients and equipment for theatre lists
  • Convey patients safely to and from theatres, wards, and departments
  • Support healthcare professionals in delivering pre, peri, and postoperative care
  • Complete documentation in accordance with NMC standards
  • Contribute to the prevention and control of hospital-acquired infections

Person Specification

  • Desirable: NVQ Level 2 in Perioperative Care or NVQ in Operating Department Support
