Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a vital part in ensuring our patients receive the care they need and will be an integral role within the CAMHS service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessments, consultation, advice, and support to ensure the best possible clinical outcomes for young people presenting to our service.
- Work with all disciplines of the team, and with external agencies within the child's network, to deliver high-quality care.
- Lead clinical audits leading to service change or improved outcomes to patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, taking into account the bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge.
- Provide clinical leadership to a multi-professional team and liaise with a wide variety of agencies.
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
- Included on the GMC Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry OR within six months of gaining CCT.
- Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within three months of appointment.
- Approved under S12 OR able to achieve within three months of appointment.
- Wide range of specialist and sub-specialist experience relevant to post within NHS or comparable service.
- MRCPsych.
- Additional clinical qualifications.
