About the Role
As a Shift Leader at Tesco, you will be responsible for coordinating the store team, supporting colleagues, and maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-presented store environment. You will also be required to open and close the store, complete duty cover, and ensure all decisions made are right for everyone's safety. In addition, you will develop and implement plans to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty, and maintain accurate stock management and ordering procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating the store team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Supporting colleagues to meet sales targets and achieve business objectives
  • Maintaining accurate stock management and ordering procedures
  • Developing and implementing plans to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers alike. You should be able to motivate and lead a team to achieve high standards of performance, while maintaining a positive and inclusive team atmosphere.
