Site Manager – Truro

A leading regional contractor is seeking a skilled Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis for a new project. The company specializes in various projects, including refurbishments, commercial new builds, renovations, and extensions within the Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Public Sector up to a couple of million pounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervising construction workers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  2. Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks to maintain a safe working environment.
  3. Attending subcontractor and contractor/client meetings to discuss project progress and address any concerns.
  4. Preparing and checking programs, site reports, designs, and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  5. Maintaining quality control checks to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  6. Motivating the workforce throughout the project to achieve project goals.
  7. Day-to-day problem solving to address any issues that may arise.
  8. Utilizing specialist construction management computer applications to streamline project management.
  9. Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Regulations at all times.

Requirements:

  1. SMSTS certification.
  2. First Aid at Work certification.
  3. CSCS Card.
  4. Competent IT user.
  5. Relevant driving licence.
