Job Description

Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in North Lincolnshire Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and assessments for equipment and home modifications, as well as recommending adaptations to support individuals with complex needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess service users and carers with complex needs in relation to their home environment
  • Provide expert advice and assessments for equipment and home modifications
  • Recommend adaptations to support individuals with complex needs
  • Work autonomously and in liaison with Social Work colleagues to utilize functional, moving and handling skills and knowledge of equipment
  • Review the effectiveness of equipment and adaptations
  • Conduct moving and handling assessments
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community
  • Previous experience working with major adaptations
  • Manual handling experience
  • HCPC Registration
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Occupational Therapist Qualification
