We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Customer Data technology team in the role of Senior Solution Architect.

This role reports to the Principal Customer Data Architect and is empowered to lead the architecture of our Customer data solutions.

Data Asset Technologies is a global department within Group Data Technology (GDT) and has teams around the globe supporting operational master data solutions for Data & Analytics Office all parts of the bank globally.

The organization is rapidly transforming its people structure and ways of working to better align with its vision for Data as an asset.

The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties with a high level of competence:

  • Lead end-to-end solution design across all change.
  • Deliver solutions in line with global patterns and strategies where appropriate.
  • Align business requirements to technology solutions and architecture direction.
  • Provide consistent end-to-end solution designs that deliver expected Business Outcomes.
  • Define, maintain, and own the architecture for the respective Value Stream.
  • Communicate architecture direction and roadmap to the Value Stream.
  • Work across Value Streams and Sub-Value Streams to identify and manage dependencies.
  • Minimize technology debt and ensure clear communication to Value Stream leadership.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Knowledge of cloud providers (AWS and GCP preferred).
  • Ability to understand business issues and devise solutions that deliver results.
  • Experience architecting in DevOps and agile environments.
  • Strong relationships with engineering and operations teams.
