As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of skilled engineers, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of seven engineers, including Electrical, Mechanical, and Maintenance Assistants, and a Carpenter.
  • Manage reactive and planned maintenance across an extensive acute hospital site.
  • Work a 12-hour, 4-on-4-off shift pattern, including days and nights.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal facility performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service delivery.
  • Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site requirements.

Requirements:

  • Strong Mechanical or Electrical background, preferably with healthcare experience and PFI knowledge.
  • HNC in a relevant subject or equivalent qualification.
  • Authorised person in relevant disciplines for site requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
