We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 driver to join our team in Hinckley. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Class 2 delivery vehicle, making scheduled deliveries and collections, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:">
  • Safely operate a Class 2 delivery vehicle to complete deliveries and collections.
  • Plan efficient delivery routes to meet deadlines and provide excellent customer service.
  • Handle packages with care to prevent damage and ensure accurate delivery.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and digital documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Adhere to all relevant traffic and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Category C driving license with at least one year's experience.
  • A valid and in-date Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than six points on your license (minor offenses only).
  • A full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Proven experience within a similar role.
  • The ability to handle physical tasks, such as manual handling of heavy parcels.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with the transport team.
