About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board Member to join our Finance Committee. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and advice to the Board and senior management team
  • Oversee the development and implementation of our financial plans and policies
  • Ensure effective risk management and governance practices are in place
  • Collaborate with other committee members to achieve our organizational objectives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Senior level experience in financial management and business planning
  • Strong governance experience, including roles on the board of a company, charity, or voluntary organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for our mission to provide quality, affordable housing to our residents
