Functional Safety Engineer

Imagination Technologies is seeking a talented Reliability and Safety Specialist to join its team in Cambridge, UK. As a key contributor to the company's safety engineering efforts, you will be responsible for developing safety-orientated analysis, safety requirements, safety architectures, and safety case development in accordance with ISO 26262.
Your primary responsibilities will include conducting hardware safety-oriented analysis, working with defined Safety Plans and corporate safety development processes, and documenting safety orientated analysis. Additionally, you will derive and document safety requirements, their associated verification/test requirements / pass/fail criteria, and support the management and definition of the Hardware-Software Interface (HSI).
To succeed in this role, you will need hands-on computer engineering experience, basics of reliability and safety engineering concepts understood, and ability to conduct safety-oriented analysis, specifically, FMEA, FTA, DFA, and FMEDA. A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering or Computer Science is required, along with Chartered status or demonstrably working towards Chartership with a professional engineering institution. The salary for this position is estimated at £100,000 - £150,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location.
