About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and young people with disabilities and understanding whether they require specialist intervention from the team or whether they are able to access mainstream activities.
About the Team
The Children with Disabilities Team is a specialist service that works alongside Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children Looked After pathways. We are committed to providing high-quality support to children and young people with significant and profound, permanent disabilities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Social Work qualification and have undertaken your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE). You will also need to have Social Work England registration and relevant experience working directly with children and young people with significant disabilities.
