About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Consultant Paediatrician to join our dynamic team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHSFT.
This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients, particularly in neonatology and epilepsy, while contributing to our consultant daytime service delivery in paediatrics and subspecialty interest at our hospital and satellite clinics.
The successful candidate will support our consultant-delivered acute Paediatric service, participate in the on-call rota, and cover the neonatal unit for ward rounds. They will also contribute to the development of our services, ensuring we remain at the forefront of paediatric care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritising the needs of our patients and their families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Participate in clinical governance, contributing to quality improvement initiatives and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Provide teaching and training opportunities for junior staff, promoting excellence in paediatric care.

Your Qualifications and Experience
We require a qualified Consultant Paediatrician with a CCT in General Paediatrics and sub-speciality interests in neonatology and epilepsy. You should have excellent leadership and management skills, with experience in teaching and training.
Able to communicate effectively with parents, GPs, nurses, and other agencies, you must be compassionate, enthusiastic, and committed to providing high-quality patient care.
Full GMC Registration and appropriate immigration status are essential. A UK driving licence is desirable.
