As an Autonomous Survey Vessel Technical Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical uptime of our Uncrewed Service Vessels (USVs) and electric Remotely Operated Vehicles (eROVs) within the European and African region. This role requires operational management experience and a comprehensive understanding of electrical distribution, survey equipment, ROV systems, and marine engineering.

You will lead a small site-based team for project mobilisations, equipment installation, equipment calibrations, vessel and equipment maintenance, and technical fault finding. You will work hands-on with the remote equipment underpinning the transition from conventional survey to remote and uncrewed survey.

In this role, you will also be responsible for daily progress reports on Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) and operational performance. Our USVs are designed and built specifically to carry out survey and ROV inspections, and as a Technical Lead, you will be crucial in linking the hands-on operational aspects of the equipment to the remote operators, pilots, and surveyors.

We are looking for candidates with previous experience in senior technical management roles such as ROV Superintendent, Geophysical Technical Coordinator, Chief Engineer, or Party Chief. You should have extensive knowledge of logistical project mobilisations, operating planned maintenance systems, fault logging systems, and QHSE systems. The ideal candidate will be able to work shift patterns up to 4 weeks in length on sites across Europe and Africa.
