About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Group Leader to join our team at MJM Industrial Ltd.

This is a key leadership role that involves overseeing the construction activities across project portfolios for the UK Branch. The successful candidate will be able to act as a safety champion and guardian of best practice, while also driving positive collaboration and safety culture within the team.

  1. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leadership and experience in managing large multi-disciplined teams.
  2. They will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to elevate the performance of others.
  3. The successful candidate will be a leader in safety & quality and be able to set standards and drive positive change within the team.
  4. They will also be IT literate and have a good understanding of financial and project management principles.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A minimum of 5+ years' experience in successfully managing large multi-disciplined teams during delivery of large and complex projects in a demanding environment with proven results.
  2. Experience in a leadership role primarily focussed on people/line management.
  3. Awareness and proven experience with aspects of project delivery throughout the lifecycle.
  4. IT literate, capable of using MS Office and Outlook as a minimum.
  5. Financial and Project Management Awareness.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. SMSTS Trained as a minimum.
  2. NVQ Level 5 in Strategic Management & Leadership or equivalent.
  3. NEBOSH General Certificate or higher.
  4. CSCS Black Management Card.
  5. NEC Training or equivalent.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including 28 days annual leave, Bupa Medical Cover, and Pension with Aviva.
