About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Project Manager to join our team at Network Rail. This is an exciting opportunity to lead business change activity and embed adoption of new systems and enhancements.

Job Description

  • Manage project implementation through the project delivery lifecycle, ensuring key stakeholders are informed and timescales are met.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, providing solutions to support business processes.
  • Provide strategic advice to functions in relation to business systems, enabling informed decision making.
  • Manage system testing processes, verifying that new and upgraded systems meet business requirements.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing quality and efficiency improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement and LEAN ways of working.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement sessions, including user groups, workshops, and drop-in sessions, to build customer relationships.
  • Develop training plans and materials, scheduling and delivering systems training to users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business change activity, ensuring successful adoption of new systems and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
  • Continuously improve project management processes and procedures, ensuring best practice is adopted.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects, with a focus on business change and adoption.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
