Randstad Student & Worker Support are seeking a reliable and committed Support Assistant to support a student studying at the University of Glasgow.

The student requires support with navigating around the campus and farm, opening doors, getting over door steps, and getting over ramps. The Support Assistant will also attend lectures and seminars and assist the student in an academic setting.

Please note that some support will be conducted on a farm, and the Support Assistant must be comfortable around animals such as cattle.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a professional relationship with the student at all times
  • Acting in the best interests of learners while working within institution policies and procedures

The Support Assistant will work closely with Randstad to ensure the student's needs are met and any concerns are addressed in a timely manner. The role requires punctuality, reliability, flexibility, and great organisational skills. Ideally, the Support Assistant will have experience supporting disabled students in a higher or further education setting.
