Wildlife Conservationist Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Wildlife Conservationist. This role will involve working with our rhino population, providing exceptional care and contributing to in-situ conservation programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake general husbandry duties, including cleaning and feeding, as well as enclosure maintenance and record keeping.
- Participate in conservation education and provide talks and encounters with the public.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of ZIMS and basic office software.
Requirements:
- Experience working with rhinos in a mainstream zoological collection.
- Full valid driving licence.
- Good communication skills and ability to impart knowledge to the team.
- Confidence around all types of rhinos, with a hands-on approach to restraint and handling.
