Job Title: Lead Assessment Validator for Engineering Programs

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Content Validator to join our team at Pearson, focusing on External Assessment materials for Engineering qualifications. This role is based in London, UK.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of assessment materials across various Engineering programs. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards, guaranteeing that our assessments meet the needs of learners and support their success.

About You:
  • A minimum of one full academic year of teaching experience in the relevant subject area/sector within the last 8 years.
  • A UK recognised teaching qualification.
  • Degree.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act at all times in a way which will not bring Pearson into disrepute.
  2. Respect the confidentiality of centres and learners.
  3. Adhere to deadlines and ensure all work is carried out to the best of your ability.
  4. Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in a professional manner.
  5. Have personal IT equipment capable of running Pearson software, appropriate virus protection software, a suitable internet connection, and a secure email account.
  6. Communicate with Pearson and its centres in a timely manner.
  7. Raise any concerns regarding malpractice or safeguarding issues.
Requirements:

As a Senior Content Validator, you will have extensive knowledge of the specific content area, including assessments and curriculum development. Proven ability to provide and coordinate training and lead quality assurance activities are essential for this role.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
