As a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist, you will play a key role in providing clinical pharmacy services to patients and healthcare staff, ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical ward pharmacy services, including medication management and optimization.
- Lead pharmacist for one or more specialties, including plastic surgery, maxillofacial surgery, burns, critical care, and paediatrics.
- Act as the Responsible Pharmacist for the dispensary as required.
- Supervise more junior pharmacy staff and provide guidance and support.
We are looking for a qualified pharmacist with a certificate in clinical pharmacy or equivalent experience. A prescribing qualification and pharmacy diploma or equivalent are desirable. You should have experience of clinical pharmacy services, audit experience, and supervising staff. Good communication and presentation skills, IT skills, and attention to detail are essential.
