L&G Affordable Homes is a subsidiary of Legal & General, focused on increasing the supply of affordable homes through institutional capital in the UK social housing sector.
We are seeking a Property Manager - Asset Optimization to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a robust end-to-end approach to asset management, delivering the best commercial and quality outcomes for the business and its customers.
You will have the opportunity to use your expertise in residential housing to work internally and with managing agents, gathering and reviewing data to gain a thorough understanding of our buildings and assets. As the role evolves, you will work to establish a baseline for the business, advising on future acquisitions.
- Work across the business to ensure efficient capture of asset and component data pre-handover from Developers and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Development team, Contracts team, and external partners to maintain and assure asset and component data throughout the component lifecycle.
- Review and assure the approach to servicing and planned maintenance proposed and delivered by Management providers and external partners.
- Work with the Data team to ensure asset data assurance.
- Consider customer insight around the quality of home, identifying areas for improvement and value delivery.
- Monitor performance at asset, building, archetype, contract, and portfolio level, assisting in lessons learned to ensure asset optimisation.
- Support the Head of Investment and Compliance in contributing to Business Planning assumptions for long-term asset investment.
- Support the Head of Investment and Compliance and Head of Sustainability in considering retrofit works as part of our goal in achieving Net Zero Carbon.
