About the Role
The Restaurant Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional service to patients and staff. Key responsibilities include food service, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and assisting with cash handling and record-keeping.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver food from the hot plate to the table or customer.
- Prepare and serve call order snacks, sandwiches, or salads as required.
- Operate cash registers in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Maintain prescribed portion control in the service of food and beverages.
- Clear tables and hot plates during and after service.
- Assist with washing crockery, cutlery, and service equipment.
- Clean and stock beverage brewing machines and cold drinks dispensers.
- Ensure vending machines are stocked and cleaned regularly, with good cash control exercised.
- Complete associated documents to record items sold and cash collected from vending machines.
