Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in leading our residential service and supporting individuals with learning disabilities, Autism, and physical disabilities to gain independence in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a team of Support Workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care services.
- Assist the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service, including allocating shifts, booking training, and inducting new colleagues.
- Support individuals with learning disabilities, Autism, and physical disabilities to achieve their goals and live independently.
- Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of our service users.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the service, including managing medication, finances, and other administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker or in a similar role.
- Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, Autism, and physical disabilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
