Children's Support Worker and Seniors

As a Senior Coach at Supercare, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people. Your role will involve providing day-to-day care and support, working closely with young people, their families, social workers, and other organizations to ensure their needs are met. You will also be responsible for coordinating and monitoring care plans, ensuring that young people are prepared for transition to adulthood and greater independence.
Main Responsibilities:
- Direct work with young people, key working, and providing day-to-day care and support.
- Working in partnership with young people, their social worker, and carers, and other relevant agencies.
- Coordinating, monitoring, and reviewing care plans for allocated young people.
- Ensuring the upkeep of the establishment, health and safety, and primary care issues.
- Supporting young people to take responsibility for their own lives, keeping them informed of their circumstances and rights.
- Responding to safeguarding concerns and reporting effectively.
- Attending to day-to-day needs, including bathing, feeding, and cooking.
- Caring for the fabric, equipment, and overall environment.
Personal:
- Acting as a role model and guide for young people, setting principles and examples.
- Making use of regular professional supervision.
- Working shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, on a rota basis.
