CK Group, a leading provider of technical services, is seeking an experienced Laboratory Analyst for a 6-month assignment at their site in Middlesbrough. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a multinational company and contribute to the success of their laboratory operations.
About the RoleThe Laboratory Analyst will be responsible for following established laboratory methods and procedures to ensure high-quality results are delivered to clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to determine requirements and identify optimal solutions;
- Developing and implementing safety protocols, risk assessments, and quality-related activities;
- Maintaining and optimizing laboratory equipment to ensure maximum uptime availability;
- Supporting the development of new methods and commissioning of new equipment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A HNC or Degree in a science discipline;
- A minimum of 2 years' industrial experience in a similar laboratory role;
- Good SHE awareness, including COSHH and risk assessments.
This role offers a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, with three 12-hour shifts and one 11-hour shift per week. The Laboratory Analyst will be based at CK Group's site in Middlesbrough.
Salary InformationWe estimate the salary for this role to be around £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure is based on industry standards for laboratory analysts in the UK.
