About the Role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Laboratory Specialist to join our team in Middlesbrough. As a key member of the laboratory team, you will be responsible for supporting and leading the development of new methods and commissioning of new equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and lead the development of new methods and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Liaise with customers to determine requirements for non-scheduled activities and identify optimum solutions.
  • Act as the focal point for specific areas within the laboratory and actively manage the delivery and development of that service offering.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to HNC / Degree in science discipline.
  • At least 2 years industrial experience in the application of technical skills in an equivalent laboratory role.
  • Good SHE awareness including application of COSHH, Risk Assessments and laboratory standards.

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
