Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to our patients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized speech and language therapy sessions to patients with complex needs, including autism and traumatic brain injury.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patients' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' speech and language goals.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to junior staff members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • At least 5 years of experience working with children with complex needs, including autism and traumatic brain injury.
  • Competent in dysphagia assessment and treatment.
  • ADOS trained or willing to undergo training.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and providing supervision to junior staff members.
