Human Resources Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Department of Haematology and Stem Cells Institute professional services team as a Human Resources Support Officer.
About the Role:
- Provide comprehensive HR support and a pro-active and responsive service to academic, research and professional staff, and visitors.
- Liaise with key university services including Payroll, Compliance, Occupational Health and the Clinical School HR Team to ensure all processes are followed and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Work within a small team to provide administrative support in an HR area, demonstrating both factual and theoretical knowledge of HR, including working with multiple processes and to tight regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience of working administratively in an HR area.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and work within a small team.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated and able to deal with highly confidential information.
